The Prodjuice Spring Cleanse is all about balance. It includes nutrient dense juices and also ready made delicious and nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

Digestive Shot

First thing in the morning. This was really refreshing and a great kick start to the day. It’s just a shot, so not hard to get through. The ingredients are mint, cucumber, ginger, apple cider vinegar and baobab which supports healthy microflora and aid digestion.

Cacao Granola

Prodjuice does not provide the milk for this granola, so I used organic almond milk. I have to say this was a welcomed surprise to have food on a cleanse. The granola was really tasty.

Green Juice

Cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, parsley lemon and ginger. Ginger has an alkalising, cleansing and restorative effect on the body.

Note there is no apple, or fruit. So it tastes very “green”, slightly bitter. But, I promise it’s very easy to get through. The great thing about it is that it’s a manageable 300mls, much easier than having to swallow 6 x half a litre juices all within a few hours of each other. The granola was sweet, so a touch of bitterness was not an issue for me at all.

Spring Salad

This was heaven for a juice cleanser. Usually the lunch time juices are the hardest, as they are quite light leaving me feeling a bit vague and light headed.

I tossed the salad in the pan and heated it up slightly. However, you can enjoy it cold, as is.

Ingredients; roast pumpkin, roast turmeric cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, kale, quinoa, tamari seeds, super green dressing and lemon.

Jamu Tonic

Tumeric, galangal, lime, black pepper, raw honey and filtered water. This tonic is cleansing, anti – inflammatory and immune boosting. It’s also delicious. I love turmeric, and turmeric tonics are consistently in all juice cleanses. It’s refreshing, and exactly what you feel like during a cleanse. For me, the tonics are what makes the cleanse “cleansing”.

Spring Vegetable Soup

Delicious! Satisfying! The perfect dinner whilst on a cleanse. I warmed mine up on the stove (avoid microwaves) and it was an amazing and filling end to the cleanse. No going to bed hungry.

The ingredients are; lentils, leek, carrot, peas, corn, snowpeas, mint, basil, parsley and lemon. This soup is delicious, warm, and felt very nourishing. It’s rich in protein (which a lot of juice cleanses are missing) and fibre, and it’s easy on digestion.

Blueberry & Brahmi Almond Milk

Almonds, blueberries, brahmi, passionflower, beetroot, vanilla, pink salt, filtered water and rice malt syrup. This blend is rich in antioxidants, and it’s soothing and calming.

On the first night, I had it cold. I didn’t love it. Then on the second night, I warmed it a little on the stove and it was better. On the third night I warmed it and added a touch of honey…. Delicious!

I really enjoyed this cleanse and I would definitely do it again. It was A LOT easier than juicing alone, and I did not feel hungry.

There was no need to add activated almonds and a mash banana with the Prodjuice Spring Cleanse.

I drank about 1L of water alongside this cleanse. Anymore, and I would have been running to the loo all day. I had two servings of marine collagen, pre green juice and pre almond milk smoothie. This always help keep the cravings away and also assisting in feeling fuller. Usually I do 3 servings whilst on a pure juice cleanse, but I was really satisfied the vagueness didn’t hit me this time.

Also I had enough energy for a 30 min walk every day and did two yoga classes, one on Friday and one one Sunday. This was a first!

Needless to say, I’m super impressed. Congrats to the Prodjuice Team for making up this superb cleanse suitable to the first timers, or season campaigners.
