We all know the feeling, it’s 2pm and the chocolate is being passed around the office. Resisting that sweet taste is almost as bad as having it. Most of us cave in, eating not one but probably two pieces just so we can get our buzz back on at work.  The feeling of guilt sets in. And there you have it. Resentment for the rest of the day and probably a forced gym session after work just so we ‘don’t feel so bad’.

Researchers at Yale University revealed that dramatic falls in blood sugar, which occur after eating “bad” carbohydrates such as sweets and biscuits, affect the part of your brain controlling impulse. This leads to a loss of self control, irritability, brain fog, fatigue and more cravings for unhealthy food.

Coconut Parfait


3 x Tbsp of Natural Coconut Yoghurt (we used Nudie)

1 x Half Banana

1 x Tbsp Diced Mango

1 x Scoop Vida Glow Beauty Mind

1 x Teaspoon Coconut Shavings (optional)


Place Coconut Yoghurt into bowl or cup

Add Beauty Mind

Stir to combine.

Top with sliced banana and diced Mango

Sprinkle over coconut shavings


Triple Choco Peanut Protein Balls


1 x Scoop Vida Glow Chocolate Protein

1 x Scoop Vida Glow Beauty Mind

1 x Tbsp Cacao Powder

3 x Tbsp Peanut Butter

3 x Tbsp Maple Syrup

2 x Tbsp Water


Mix all ingredients into a bowl to form a dough like consistency

Roll dough into individual balls (around 8-9)

Place in airtight container in fridge

Leave for 3 hours




Beauty Mind Latte


1 Scoop Beauty Mind

2 Cups of Plant Based Milk


Warm milk over a stove in a saucepan

Add Beauty Mind and stir until dissolved

When steaming , remove and place in mug
